I thought this would be fun to share! This is a little “transformation” collage of my pony Lara and I over the years. The top photo is of us showing at a local 4H show when Lara was 4 and I was 12. This was taken two years after my parents bought her for me and I had begun saddlebreaking and training her. The bottom photo is us competing in a hunter derby last year when she was 10 and I was 18. I am now 19 and she is 11, and we are on our latest adventure, venturing into the jumper ring! There is something very special about bringing along a horse yourself at a young age that makes riding so rewarding!
